Membership

Richings Park is a proprietary owned club where membership is open to both handicap and less experienced golfers.  A full programme of competitions both between members and with neighbouring clubs is in place and indeed Richings Park won the prestigious Hillman Trophy in 2008. The Clubhouse is central to the social life of many of the Members and they support and organise an extensive calendar of events. The Sunday Carvery lunch is particularly popular with many families attending very regularly.

Competition on the golf course and a great social atmosphere within the club contribute greatly to the pleasure of being a Member. New Members quickly find themselves feeling at home and drawn into conversation at the bar. The Pro-Shop staff will happily introduce Members who are looking for someone to give them a game. Once you become a member you will receive a PIN number to login to the Members section of this website and view your results and statistics for every competition via the IntelligentGolf system.

This year we have introduced an exciting new Membership which is far more flexible than most. You pay £750 and have free golf Monday to Friday (including Bank Holidays) and £10 per round at Weekends, (Free after 3pm). The membership year commences on 1st April and subscriptions can be paid in full then or by Standing Order over nine months. Members can join at anytime and pay a pro rata rate for the remainder of the golfing year. To facilitate Members who can only play infrequently the club offers an Associate Membership. Associate Members pay a lower annual fee but must pay a reduced green fee each time they play. There are no joining fees.

All members receive a membership card which gives them discount at the bar and in the pro-shop. All members automaticallyreceive a BB&O County Card which gives excellent green fee discount at over 65 clubs in Berks Bucks & Oxon and 600 clubs throughout England!

We also have reciprocal Golf arrangemnets with Caversham heath Golf Club in Reading and Donnington Valley Golf Club in Newbury. Ask at the Pro Shop for details.

The membership year is 1st April – 31st March Pro-rata membership is available throughout the year.
